Angel Reese Shuts Down Delusional Fans and Shines Despite Double-Double Streak Ending
Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese addresses delusional fans on social media while continuing to impress on the court. Despite ending her double-double streak, Reese remains a standout rookie in the WNBA.
Bollywood Fever: Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese recently made headlines with a candid message for fans who think she or her teammates would fly people out to their games. Reese, known for her strong performances on the court, took to social media to set the record straight.
“Let me just say something … I just want to say one thing. The delusion of thinking of gonna fly any of y’all out … Yeah, that’s all I’m gonna say,” Reese stated in the video. “The delusion of thinking any one of us are flying y’all out … be for real. Thank you.”
The video quickly went viral, coinciding with the end of Reese’s impressive double-double streak against the New York Liberty. Her streak, which lasted 15 games, concluded as she finished the game with eight points and 16 rebounds. Despite the Sky’s efforts to get her the ball in the closing moments, Reese faced heavy defense from four Liberty players, leading to an 81-67 loss.

Reese, the only WNBA rookie averaging a double-double, has consistently demonstrated her talent with averages of 13.5 points and 12 rebounds per game. She also contributes defensively, averaging 1.5 steals and 0.4 blocks per game.
In June, Reese’s outstanding performance earned her the WNBA Rookie of the Month title, and she was also voted into the All-Star Game. She will have the opportunity to team up with fellow Rookie of the Year candidate Caitlin Clark as the All-Stars take on Team USA.
Despite the end of her streak, Angel Reese’s impact on the court remains significant. Her straightforward approach and exceptional skills continue to make her a standout player in the WNBA. As the season progresses, fans can expect more remarkable performances from this rising star.
