Bollywood Fever: Ciara kicked off the 2024 ESPY Awards with an electrifying performance, delivering a medley of her hit songs “Goodies,” “Level Up,” and “One, Two Step” onstage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday.
The 38-year-old Grammy winner flaunted her post-baby figure in a sexy black leather jumpsuit, complete with a chain-covered half-peplum and combat boots, styled by Marni Senofonte. Her blonde wavy wig was styled by Davontaé Washington, while make-up artist Yolonda Frederick gave her a smoky eye, defined brows, and a glossy pout.
Despite welcoming her fourth child just seven months ago, Ciara looked stunning. She shared on Instagram that she was actively working to lose the 70 pounds she gained during pregnancy, revealing she weighed 181.4 pounds as of April 23.
During her performance, Ciara was joined onstage by a group of female backup dancers, all dressed in iconic tennis outfits to pay tribute to ESPYs host Serena Williams. The 42-year-old tennis legend even congratulated Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson, who was in the audience.
While Ciara skipped the red carpet, the 35-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback posed in an all-white ensemble, with and without a matching jacket. Russell, who recently signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract, shared workout photos with running back Najee Harris at UCLA.
The couple recently celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary. Ciara expressed her love on social media, saying, “I’m the happiest girl because of how you love me! I’m so grateful for our love! Eight years! So proud of us! Yay! Happy anniversary my love! @DangeRussWilson. I love you so much!” Russell echoed her sentiments with a heartfelt video.
The couple will next celebrate the fourth birthday of their son, Win Wilson, on July 23. They are also parents to seven-year-old Sienna Princess Wilson and seven-month-old Amora Princess Wilson. Ciara’s eldest child, 10-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn, is from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
After the ESPYs, Ciara and her dancers rushed to the Crypto.com Arena in Inglewood, CA, to continue Missy Elliott’s “Out of this World: The Experience Tour,” which also features Busta Rhymes and Timbaland.
Ciara, who boasts 10.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, was signed to LaFace Records in 2003 and released her debut single “Goodies” 20 years ago.
