TRIVIA
The protagonist, played by Sridevi, was inspired by Gauri Shinde’s mother a Marathi speaking female who was not fluent in English and ran a pickle business.
Sridevi is making a comeback in this movie after 26 years in Tamil films, 18 years in Telugu films and 15 years in Hindi films.
Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi acted opposite each other 20 years previously in Kudha Gawah in 1992.
Tamil SuperStar Ajith Kumar did a cameo in Tamil version of this film. That is, doing the exact same part as Amithabh Bacchan did in Hindi.
Sridevi and Sujata Kumar who play sisters in the film both passed away in 2018.
