Former Nebraska Star Keisei Tominaga Set for G League United Debut
Former Nebraska standout Keisei Tominaga is set to make his G League United debut in the NBA G League Fall Invitational, followed by the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.
NBA, Bollywood Fever: Keisei Tominaga, the former Nebraska men’s basketball star, is set to make his debut with the G League United team on Wednesday night.
Tominaga was selected for the NBA’s developmental league team last month and will make his first appearance during the NBA G League Fall Invitational, where United faces off against Serbian powerhouse BC Mega MIS.
Following the Invitational, Tominaga and the United squad will travel to Singapore to compete in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup from September 12-15.

Tominaga, the only rookie on the 12-member team, has already made waves this year, having represented Japan in the Paris Olympics and signing a contract with the NBA’s Indiana Pacers in July.
During his three-year career with Nebraska, Tominaga racked up 1,074 points and 178 made three-pointers, placing him seventh on Nebraska’s all-time three-point list.
His impressive senior season, where he averaged 15.1 points per game, earned him a spot on the All-Big Ten second team.
Tominaga’s debut game will take place at 9 p.m. (CT) in Santa Cruz, California, with high expectations for his performance as he transitions to the professional stage.
