Former Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy was arrested on DUI-related charges, including extreme DUI, in Scottsdale. Lacy was a standout at Alabama and NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
BollywoodFever: Former NFL running back Eddie Lacy was arrested last week on multiple DUI-related charges, according to Scottsdale police. The charges include:
- DUI – Impaired to the slightest degree
- DUI – BAC of .08 or more
- Extreme DUI – BAC of .15 or more
- Extreme DUI – BAC of .20 or more
- Possession of liquor in an open container

Scottsdale police responded to reports of a potentially impaired driver on Monday night. Officers located a vehicle matching the description and observed several traffic violations before pulling it over. Following an investigation, Lacy was taken into custody and transported to the Scottsdale City Jail.
The 34-year-old Lacy is a former Alabama Crimson Tide star, where he was part of three BCS National Championship teams from 2009 to 2012. He was named Offensive MVP of the 2012 BCS Championship Game against Notre Dame. Lacy was drafted 61st overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 2013 NFL Draft and had an impressive rookie season, rushing for nearly 1,200 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
Lacy played four seasons with the Packers before signing a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks in 2017. No further details regarding his arrest have been released at this time.
