Kelsey Plum’s Bizarre Halftime Interview Goes Viral After Aces’ Win Over Fever
Kelsey Plum’s unexpected halftime interview goes viral during the Aces’ 78-74 win over the Indiana Fever, sparking laughter and reactions from fans and teammates alike.
BollywoodFever: Kelsey Plum of the Las Vegas Aces made waves during her team’s 78-74 victory over the Indiana Fever on Friday, not just for her performance but for her memorable halftime interview.
After the Aces held the Fever to just 13 points in the first quarter and 35 points in the first half, Plum was asked about the team’s defense. Her response caught everyone off guard: “I don’t know. Come back to me later.”

When asked how the Aces managed to keep the Fever from mounting a comeback, Plum continued with a lighthearted, unexpected answer: “I don’t know, we have good players.”
The interview quickly went viral, and Plum was called out for being “rude,” but she laughed off the comments after the Aces secured the win, improving to a 24-13 record this season. “I thought we did a great job as a team, but Kelsey Mitchell was cooking.
She had a couple on me as well, so I didn’t want to say anything stupid. So I just said, ‘come back to me,’” Plum explained.
Her teammate Chelsea Gray playfully teased Plum for her knack for going viral. In response, Plum said, “I don’t even have social media on my phone.
No offense but, like, we have good players. Not disrespectful. We have competitors — pick one. That’s what I meant. People these days don’t say the truth.”
Plum finished the game with 18 points and had a game-high plus-17 rating. Caitlin Clark also scored 18 points for the Fever but was shut out in the first half. Kelsey Mitchell led the way for Indiana with 20 points.
The quirky interview added a fun moment to an already intense game, showcasing Plum’s sense of humor and competitive spirit.
