Kimora Lee Simmons expressed feeling “a little embarrassed” when she saw photos of her 21-year-old daughter kissing a 65-year-old, particularly because she believes her daughter, Aoki, got played.
During our conversation with the fashion mogul in NYC on Thursday, she shared her thoughts on Aoki’s brief involvement with restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, dismissing it as not a real relationship and referring to Assaf as merely a toad Aoki kissed.
Kimora Lee Simmons suggested that her daughter was set up, implying that the significant age difference may have affected Aoki’s judgment.
Despite feeling embarrassed about the public nature of her daughter’s interaction with Assaf, Kimora showed Aoki love and support after the images surfaced. However, she did impose a minor punishment.

While hip-hop icon Russell Simmons, Aoki’s father, shared his thoughts on the situation at the time, Kimora mostly kept her opinions private.
Regarding her relationship with Diddy, whose twins are close to Kimora’s children, she mentioned that the girls attended her 49th birthday dinner recently.
As for the allegations against Diddy, Kimora avoided getting involved in that drama. She was previously linked to Diddy when a 2004 interview resurfaced, in which she claimed Diddy had threatened to hit her while she was pregnant. She later clarified that Diddy did not hit her and apologized for her statement.
