Las Vegas Raiders Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 1: Davante Adams Shines Despite Uncertainty at QB

Bleacher Report’s Week 1 fantasy football rankings see Davante Adams ranked 8th among WRs, while Raiders QB and defense fall behind. Here’s how Las Vegas players stack up.

Bollywood Fever: As the Las Vegas Raiders prepare for their Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, Bleacher Report recently released its fantasy football rankings for the opening week of the 2024 NFL season. Here’s how the key Raiders players stack up:

At quarterback, it was a rough start for Gardner Minshew, who didn’t receive much love from fantasy analysts. He was ranked 29th overall at his position, just ahead of rookie Bo Nix, which suggests Minshew likely won’t be a viable fantasy option in most leagues for Week 1.

Moving to running back, Zamir White showed some promise, landing at 25th on B/R’s rankings. This is a reasonable placement for White, who will be leading the Raiders’ backfield this season. Though it’s his first year in that role, White could still deliver solid value for fantasy managers looking for a flex option.

At wide receiver, there was no surprise as Davante Adams was ranked highly, coming in as the 8th-best fantasy WR for Week 1. Despite uncertainty at the quarterback position, Adams remains one of the league’s most reliable options. Jakobi Meyers also made the list, ranked 49th, which is fair given his role as the second option in the passing game.

The tight end position saw two Raiders in the top-30. Brock Bowers was ranked 13th, while Michael Mayer came in at 29th. Despite the Raiders potentially splitting time between the two, both players bring enough talent to still hold some fantasy relevance.

For kicker, Daniel Carlson was ranked 16th, making him a reasonable but not top-tier option for Week 1.

Surprisingly, the Raiders defense, which has shown impressive signs in the preseason, did not crack the top 25 rankings, signaling a lack of faith in their fantasy viability for the opening week.

The Raiders will kick off their 2024 season this Sunday on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers, and fantasy managers will be eager to see how these players perform in the season opener.
