Le’Veon Moss Shines as Texas A&M Dominates Missouri 41-10, Ending Tigers’ Undefeated Run

Le’Veon Moss ran for 138 yards and three touchdowns as Texas A&M routed previously undefeated Missouri 41-10, marking the Aggies’ fifth straight win.

BollywoodFever: Texas A&M running back Le’Veon Moss had a career day, rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Aggies to a dominant 41-10 victory over ninth-ranked Missouri on Saturday. The win not only handed Missouri their first loss of the season but also extended Texas A&M’s win streak to five games under first-year coach Mike Elko.

Moss, reflecting on the Aggies’ performance, said the team knew Missouri underestimated them. They thought they was coming to get a piece of cake — easy,” Moss joked after the game. His explosive 75-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter pushed the lead to 31-0, sealing the Tigers’ fate.

Missouri’s only touchdown came on a 59-yard pass from Brady Cook to Theo Wease late in the third quarter, but it was too little, too late. Cook finished with 186 yards passing and a single touchdown, while the Tigers struggled offensively and defensively throughout the game. Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz expressed disappointment, saying, “We weren’t competitive and that’s not Mizzou football.”

Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman returned after missing three games due to injury, throwing for 276 yards. Running back Amari Daniels contributed two rushing touchdowns, further showcasing the Aggies’ dominance on the ground.

Despite the early momentum shift after a failed 4th down attempt by Missouri, Texas A&M capitalized on multiple opportunities. Daniels scored two 1-yard touchdowns, and Moss added another to help the Aggies build a 24-0 halftime lead.

The Aggies’ defense held Missouri in check for most of the game, with Kyle Field’s raucous 12th Man crowd amplifying the pressure. Coach Elko noted that the home crowd responded to pre-game comments from Missouri’s Cook, who claimed practice noise was louder than the game atmosphere. “The 12th Man certainly heard some of the statements,” Elko said with a grin, as Cook struggled against the noise.

Missouri, coming off a narrow win over Vanderbilt, was thoroughly exposed on both sides of the ball. Drinkwitz acknowledged the defeat and challenged his team to rise above it. “You’ve got one of two choices: fall apart or dig deep and find resolve to get better,” Drinkwitz told his players after the game.

For Texas A&M, the win signaled continued improvement and confidence with Weigman back at the helm. The Aggies look stronger each week, and Moss’s career performance underscored the growing potential of Elko’s squad.
