Bollywood Fever: Swiss pharmaceutical giant Roche is reportedly considering divesting its cancer data specialist Flatiron Health, according to the Financial Times, citing sources familiar with the matter. Roche acquired the New York-based company in 2018 for $1.9 billion to enhance the development of cancer treatments and support value-based pricing strategies.

Roche is currently working with Citigroup to explore various options for Flatiron, which may include selling the business outright or divesting part of it to a partner who could help manage operations, the Financial Times reported. A spokesperson from Roche declined to comment on the rumors, stating, “As a matter of policy, we don’t comment on rumors.”

Flatiron Health and Citigroup have not yet responded to Reuters’ requests for comment.
