Travis Kelce Reveals Taylor Swift is Drawing Up Football Plays: “She’s So Detailed”
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce shares how Taylor Swift has taken an interest in football, even drawing up plays centered around him.
Bollywood Fever: Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has gone beyond stadium appearances, with the pop superstar now taking an active interest in football — even going as far as drawing up plays for her boyfriend.
During a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared how Swift has been learning the ins and outs of the sport and using her signature attention to detail to get involved.
“She didn’t know much about the rules, but she’s been so open to learning the game,” Kelce said. “She’s so detailed in every aspect of her career that I think she was just curious about the profession.”
Kelce also revealed that Swift has been crafting some football plays herself. Although none of them have reached Chiefs head coach Andy Reid yet, the tight end joked that they are naturally “a little biased,” designed with Kelce as the focal point.
“She’s created plays for me,” he added with a laugh. “We’ll see if they make it to Coach Reid’s office.”
Kelce’s remarks follow comments from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who previously mentioned Swift’s growing interest in football. “She’s already drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in,” Mahomes said last month.
The couple has been romantically linked since September 2023, with Swift making headlines when she attended her first Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears.
She continued to support Kelce throughout the season, including during the Super Bowl. Likewise, Kelce was spotted at multiple shows on Swift’s Eras Tour over the summer.
With Swift’s growing knowledge of football, who knows? Maybe one of her plays will find its way onto the field.
