Initially, authorities in New Mexico considered Sophia’s death on March 1 as “suspicious” and “unique,” prompting a thorough investigation that included involvement from a homicide detective. During the investigation, Sophia’s mother revealed that her daughter had a history of heavy drinking and had struggled with suicidal thoughts.
Despite these concerns, police found no signs of trauma on Sophia’s body and have now officially classified her death as an accidental overdose.
Sophia Leone was just 26 years old at the time of her passing. She gained recognition in the adult film industry, working with prominent studios such as Brazzers, Reality Kings, and Evil Angel, among others.
