Allison Holker teases a new romance on Instagram nearly a year after the death of her husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss. The “Dancing With the Stars” alum shares her journey of healing and love.
Bollywood Fever: Allison Holker, the beloved “Dancing With the Stars” alum, has found love again nearly a year after the tragic death of her husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss. On Wednesday, Holker, 36, hinted at her new relationship by sharing a heartfelt photo on Instagram, capturing the shadows of her and a mystery man holding hands. She simply captioned the image with a red heart emoji, signaling the special bond she has formed with her new partner.
The post was met with warmth and support from friends and fans alike, including fellow widow Amanda Kloots, who commented, “Very happy for you.”
Holker and Boss were married in 2013 and shared three children: Weslie, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 4. The couple’s life was turned upside down in December 2022 when Boss, a former DJ for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” tragically took his own life at the age of 40. He was found in a Los Angeles hotel room with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, leaving behind a suicide note that detailed his struggles with mental health.
Holker was reportedly blindsided by the loss of her husband, sharing her grief publicly in the months following his death. “We miss you so much,” she wrote in a poignant Instagram post, expressing the deep pain she felt.
In February 2023, Holker thanked her fans for their outpouring of love and support, which she said gave her “hope and inspiration” during such a difficult time. She also faced the legal challenges that followed Boss’s death, including a request to a California court to grant her half of his estate, as he had died without a will.
Holker has spoken openly about the challenges of explaining her husband’s death to their young children, describing the conversations as “really hard.” Despite the immense grief, she has worked to help her children understand and cope with the loss, telling them that “Daddy’s in the stars” and they can talk to him whenever they want.
By June of this year, Holker revealed she was ready to “embrace” dating again, signaling a new chapter in her journey of healing. Her recent Instagram post suggests she has found someone special to share this next phase of her life with, a positive sign of hope and love after such a tragic loss.
