Angel Reese shares a heartwarming throwback photo with her brother Julian Reese, as both continue to make their marks in the basketball world. Julian is currently a standout player for the University of Maryland Terrapins.
BollywoodFever: Angel Reese, the Chicago Sky forward who always keeps fans engaged through her basketball, podcasting, and fashion ventures, took a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a precious family throwback. On her Instagram story, Angel shared a childhood photo of herself and her younger brother, Julian Reese, set to the tune of Drake and 21 Savage’s track “Treacherous Twins.”
In the sweet photo, Angel can be seen smiling in a denim dress with her hair styled in afro puffs, while Julian flashes a grin wearing a black and white plaid shirt with denim shorts. The sibling duo radiates joy in the snap, capturing a moment of their close bond from their early years.
While Angel had a standout rookie season in the WNBA, her brother Julian is also making waves in the basketball world. Julian, a power forward for the University of Maryland Terrapins, had an impressive 2023-2024 junior season, playing 32 games and averaging 13.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, and one steal per game.
The Reese siblings share a love of competition, often crediting each other for helping shape their skills. In a March 2022 interview with What’s Up?, Angel spoke about their competitive nature growing up. “We had a basketball court in front of our house, and it was always very competitive and intense,” she said. “Playing all the time together helped shape me into who I am now.”
Though the two may debate who’s the better basketball player, one thing is for sure — that throwback photo proves they’ve always shared a close bond.
