Australian model and DJ Courtney Mills has tragically passed away in Bali after a balcony fall. Remembering her vibrant life and contributions to the music and entertainment industry.
Australian model, DJ, and OnlyFans star Courtney Mills, 37, has tragically passed away after falling from a balcony while on holiday in Bali. Originally from Melbourne, Mills was rushed to the hospital on Friday but succumbed to her injuries on Sunday following multiple surgeries.
Courtney had previously lived in Bali and considered the Indonesian island her second home. She was visiting to spend time with her two dogs when the accident occurred. Her older sister Kiani Mills and mother Diane flew to Bali to be by her side in the hospital.
Known for her vibrant personality and incredible talent, Mills was a celebrated DJ who performed at some of Melbourne’s top venues, including Metropol, Cushion, Secret Garden, and Motel Eve. Her love for music and passion for her craft led to a flourishing international career, where she became a well-loved figure in the entertainment industry.

Her sister, Kiani, described Courtney as a “bright shining star” who lived life to the fullest. Kiani shared, “She was full of adventure and never said no to an opportunity. She would drive hours and hours just to DJ for one hour. She would fly across the country to do the job she loved so passionately, and to her, it wasn’t a job, it was a life. Being behind those decks was her sense of freedom, and we got to see her light up rooms. I hope she is proud of what she has done because we are proud of what she has done.”
Courtney’s mother, Diane, called her “beautiful, big-hearted, happy, and go-lucky,” while her father, Andrew, remembered her as a “free spirit” with an enduring love for music. “From an early age, Courtney was a bit of a free spirit. She took on my love of music and was her own free being. I’ve always loved her spirit and I always will,” he said.
Mills faced personal tragedies during her time in Bali, including a fall down a flight of stairs in 2023 that resulted in a brain injury. In 2018, she and her ex-boyfriend were seriously injured in a scooter accident while attending a wedding on the island. Despite these challenges, Courtney remained resilient, living her life with passion and joy.
Tributes have poured in from friends, fans, and the entertainment industry, mourning the loss of a vibrant soul. One admirer wrote, “Absolutely devastated. You were such an angel and will certainly be remembered for your spark and kindness.”
The Sound Agency celebrated her legacy in a statement, saying, “Courtney Mills was not just a brilliant DJ; she was the heartbeat of every party, a vibrant spirit who connected us all. Rest in peace, your light will never fade.” Fellow DJ Brandon Mangion recalled her compassionate nature, sharing that her last message to him was, “I’m here for you.”
Her family plans to honor Courtney’s memory with a cremation ceremony in Bali, acknowledging her deep connection to the island. Kiani Mills shared online, “This place was her second home, so we wish to honor her and leave a part of her here.” Her ashes will later be brought back to Melbourne for a celebration of her life, which her family described as “Courtney style.”
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has confirmed it is providing consular assistance to her family during this difficult time. In a statement, they expressed their condolences, saying, “We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time.”
Courtney Mills will be remembered for her extraordinary energy, musical talent, and the joy she brought to those who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created.Originally Posted in: Buzzing Bulletin
