Avalanche Announces Launch of Web3 Voucher Initiative via Alipay Platform
Avalanche, a leading platform for smart contracts, is teaming up with Alipay, the prominent Chinese payment service, to introduce a new program that combines Web3 technology with digital vouchers. This initiative aims to provide significant discounts on milk tea purchases across Southeast Asia, benefiting both consumers and businesses.
Introducing Web3 Vouchers with Avalanche and Alipay
Avalanche and Alipay are joining forces to roll out a pioneering voucher program enabled by Web3 technology. Customers participating in a specially designed mini-game will have the chance to earn vouchers, offering discounts of up to 50% at over 500 participating milk tea shops across the region. This collaboration also includes Alipay+ D-store, a platform offering digital solutions for businesses, and various e-wallets associated with Alipay.
The launch represents the initial phase of a larger plan, aiming to reach over 100 million users in Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as Chinese tourists visiting these countries.
Expanding Business Opportunities with Web3
This program is not just about discounts; it’s a strategic move to explore new business models and customer engagement strategies using Web3 technology. Avalanche‘s partnership with Alipay and its e-wallet affiliates allows for an exploration of how Web3 can enhance customer interactions, loyalty, and open new revenue channels.
Additionally, Avalanche is broadening the reach of Avacloud, its Subnet solution, beyond Amazon Web Services. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to integrate a wider array of cloud services, enhancing flexibility and accessibility for users across the globe.
Through these innovative steps, Avalanche and Alipay are setting a new standard for how businesses can leverage Web3 technology to engage with customers in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
