Trivia
The film was shot in Kota, Rajasthan. While shooting in 7 wonder’s park, the park was closed for a day and a huge amount of crowd was there to watch the shooting.
Considered a follow up film to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014); although not a continuation of the same story, both feature the same lead actors and production team.
Varun Dhawan’s and Alia Bhatt’s 3rd film together after “Student of the Year” (2012) and “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” (2014), both produced by Karan Johar.
Priyanka Chopra was offered the role of Alia Bhatt’s older sister, but declined it due to her other films.
