Bollywood Fever: Houston rapper and producer BeatKing has tragically passed away at the age of 39, with the cause of death reportedly being a pulmonary embolism. According to a report by TMZ, BeatKing collapsed during a radio appearance at Urban One/Radio One and was later pronounced dead at a Houston hospital on Thursday, August 15.

Sources indicate that BeatKing died after receiving treatment for a pulmonary embolism, a condition where a blood clot blocks blood flow to the lungs. The beloved Texas artist passed away with his two daughters by his side.

Texas Rapper Beatking Tragically Passes Away

News of BeatKing’s death was first confirmed by his manager, Tasha Felder, in an emotional Instagram post. “Today, August 15, 2024 we have lost @clubgodzilla,” Felder wrote. “BeatKing has been the best part of the club for over a decade… We will love him forever.”

BeatKing, also known as Club Godzilla, was a significant figure in the Houston club scene over the past decade. He gained widespread recognition for tracks like “Thick” featuring DJ Chose and “Then Leave” featuring Queendom Come, both released in 2020.

In the wake of his passing, BeatKing is being fondly remembered by fellow artists such as Bun B, 2 Chainz, and Juicy J, who have all expressed their condolences and shared memories of the influential rapper and producer.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences to confirm the cause of death. BeatKing’s impact on the music industry, particularly within the Houston scene, ensures that his legacy will endure for years to come.
