Bell Bottom is a Bollywood thriller genre movie releasing on 19 August 2021 directed by Ranjit Tewari.

Film Features Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in the lead roles.
The film was officially announced in November 2019 with release date of Republic Day 2021.
It is Vaani Kapoor’s first film to be not produced by Yash Raj Films and became the first Bollywood movie to start shooting amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 during which shootings were stopped in India.
First schedule will be wrapped up in the last week of September 2020. The film is expected to be completed in the second schedule in the middle of October 2020.
Bell Bottom is based on true events and the story is set during the 1980s about some unforgettable heroes of the era.
Bell Bottom Hit or Flop At Box Office?
The film Bell Bottom made in the budget of 70cr. and released in theaters on 19 August 2021.
Till now movie collected around 24cr. and expected to touch or cross 35-40cr. mark in its lifetime.
At Box Office Bell Bottom will be Flop
But movie sold to Amazon Prime for whopping 80cr. and Budget of the movie is 70cr. (Akshay Kumar’s remuneration not included)
Satellite rights not yet disclosed, So producers are in profit and for them its success venture.
This will be a first flop for Akshay after 14 films, his last flop was way back 6 years in 2015 which is Brothers.
And the reason for this is Covid19.
He will back with a bang with his next releases Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj and Bachchan Pandey.
Hope theaters will open with 100% occupancy and good films like Bell Bottom should not get Flop tag.
