She married Emilio Diaz in 1969 and had their first daughter Chimene Diaz in 1970.

Her husband Emilio Diaz expired on April 15, 2008.

Death of her husband

Emilio, who worked as a foreman for the oil industry, died suddenly on April 15, 2008. The first time he caught the flu, it quickly developed into pneumonia. 

He died at the age of 58 of pneumonia. Emilio, a supportive parent, appeared in the comedy “There Something About Mary” in a supporting role. 

Billie’s life turned upside down after she lost her partner. Cameron was devastated by his death because she was very close to him.
