Blake Lively jokes that husband Ryan Reynolds is trying to get her pregnant again in a playful Instagram post. The couple, already parents of four, shares their humorous take on expanding their family.
Bollywood Fever: Do Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have a fifth baby in their future? The “Gossip Girl” alum humorously suggested so on Instagram Stories Wednesday, teasing that her husband was “trying to get [her] pregnant again.”
Lively, 36, shared a video of Reynolds, 47, holding the dog from his “Deadpool” movies, accompanied by an alarm emoji and a playful “SOS.” She jokingly asked her “rude” partner to “put the dog that you find adorable in spite of societal k9 expectations away and take off the damn teal suit.”
Reynolds was seen posing with the pooch while walking the “Deadpool & Wolverine” red carpet with Hugh Jackman in London on Wednesday.
The couple, who have been married since 2012, are already parents to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a fourth baby girl whose name has yet to be revealed. Their youngest child arrived in early 2023.
Reynolds joked on the “Today” show in May that he and Lively don’t yet know baby No. 4’s name and are “waiting” for Taylor Swift to reveal it in a song. Swift has notably included the names of James, Inez, and Betty in her music, even featuring a recording of James’ voice in “Gorgeous.”
This isn’t the first time Lively has humorously commented on conceiving more children due to her husband’s social media activity. In 2020, she made a similar joke, to which Reynolds replied he was “out of office” and would “respond to [the] message as soon as possible upon [his] unlikely return.”
Lively recently swooned over Reynolds again last week, admitting to her “thirst [being] trapped” by a photo of him flexing in a muscle tank.
While the playful banter continues, fans are left wondering if the couple truly has plans to expand their family further.
