BollywoodFever: The Indiana Fever‘s 2024 WNBA playoff schedule is set following the conclusion of the regular season.Â
Finishing with a 20-20 record, the Fever secured the No. 6 seed in the standings and will now face the No. 3 seed Connecticut Sun, who posted a 27-12 record.
The Best-of-3 series kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 3:00 p.m. ET, followed by Game 2 on Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Both games will take place in Connecticut. Should Caitlin Clark and the Fever push for a decisive Game 3, it would be held in Indiana on Sept. 27.
Clark, who has had a standout rookie season, is expected to be instrumental in the Fever’s playoff performance.
She finished the regular season averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a league-high 8.4 assists per game.
Kelsey Mitchell, another key player, will also be vital for the Fever after scoring the second-most points in team history this season.Â
Despite an injury in their final regular-season game, head coach Christie Sides anticipates Mitchell will be ready for Game 1.
While the Connecticut Sun dominated the regular season series 3-1, Indiana claimed an 84-80 victory in their last meeting, giving them a boost of confidence heading into the playoffs.
The winner of this first-round matchup will advance to face either the Minnesota Lynx or Phoenix Mercury in a Best-of-5 semifinal series.
