Bollywood Fever: It wasn’t just former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice who made an unexpected appearance during the Indiana Fever‘s practice on Tuesday, September 3.
In a day filled with surprises, Caitlin Clark, along with Ched-Z, the iconic Cheez-It mascot, made an eventful visit to the Fever’s practice at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Ched-Z didn’t just stop by for pictures—he joined in the fun by challenging Indiana’s mascot, Freddy Fever, to a friendly 1-on-1.
The Cheez-It mascot stole the show with a jaw-dropping no-look, over-the-back triple, leaving Freddy stunned and the crowd impressed.
After the friendly face-off, Ched-Z mingled with Caitlin Clark and the Fever players, much to the delight of third-year guard Lexie Hull, who is reportedly a big fan of the cheesy mascot.
Ched-Z even came bearing gifts, surprising the team and staff with plenty of Cheez-It snacks as a reward for their hard work during practice.
The smiles on the team’s faces during the post-practice photo op were a clear indication of how much they enjoyed Ched-Z’s appearance.
Fans won’t miss out on the action either. Cheez-It has partnered with the Indiana Fever for their home game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday, September 4.
The game will feature various Cheez-It-themed activities, including a “Game of Cheez” shoot-out, where a lucky fan could win a year’s supply of Cheez-It crackers.
As the Fever aim for their fifth consecutive win against a struggling 7-25 Sparks team, fans will be hoping that Ched-Z proves to be a good luck charm for the squad.
