Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb bounced back with 98 yards and a touchdown in a 20-15 win over the Giants after his Week 3 frustration. The Cowboys aim to build momentum heading into Week 5.
BollywoodFever: After a tumultuous Week 3 where cameras caught him having a sideline outburst against the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb regained his focus and delivered a stellar performance in Week 4.
The former Oklahoma Sooners standout recorded 98 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven receptions from eight targets, helping the Cowboys secure a 20-15 victory over the New York Giants on Thursday night.
Lamb expressed satisfaction with both his performance and the team’s overall improvement, as Dallas snapped their two-game losing streak.
“Obviously, it’s more joy in here,” Lamb said following the win, per Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com. He noted that the pressure of consecutive losses had built up tension within the team. “You lose two in a row and you kind of start going through a phase where everybody is uptight… [this] was the one we needed.”
The victory came at a crucial time, as another loss could have significantly hurt the Cowboys’ morale.
Instead, Dallas now stands at 2-2, looking to build on their momentum as they prepare to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5, aiming for their first back-to-back wins of the season.
Although the Cowboys were outgained in total yards, 303-293, their defense played a pivotal role in securing the victory.
Dallas shut down the Giants in both of their red-zone attempts and sealed the game with a clutch interception by Amani Oruwariye, quashing New York’s comeback hopes.
