Jogi was 2005’s highest grossing movie and one of the all time highest grosser of Sandalwood.
Released with 72 prints in 172 Cinemas across Karnataka later they released it in 81 prints which beats the record of Mungaru Male.
Jogi was remade in Tamil as Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram, starring Dhanush and Meera Jasmin, and in Telugu as Yogi, starring Prabhas and Nayanthara.
Made in a budget of 4cr. as per The Hindu Jogi grossed 30cr. worldwide.
Sequel of the movie Jogayya released in 2011 which was also a Blockbuster and 100th film of Shiva Rajkumar.
For Jogi Shiva Rajkumar won Kannada State Award 2005-06 for Best Actor Arundhati Nag won Best Supporting Actor Award and Prem won for Best Screenplay.
