Donald Trump shares a meme on Truth Social depicting himself as Superman, along with various associates as DC superheroes, as part of his 2024 presidential campaign narrative.
Bollywood Fever: Donald Trump has once again leaned into his superhero persona, this time sharing a meme on his Truth Social account that casts him as Superman.
The image, which features Trump and his allies as characters from DC’s cinematic universe, aligns with the former president’s frequent portrayal of himself as a larger-than-life figure in American politics.
In the meme, Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, takes on the role of Batman, while Elon Musk is depicted as the part-human, part-robot Cyborg.
Entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is shown as the Flash, with former U.S. congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard suited up as Wonder Woman.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently endorsed Trump after dropping his independent presidential bid, is cast as Aquaman. The Trump 2024 campaign recently announced that both RFK Jr. and Gabbard would join its transition team.
This image, originally posted by an X user known for content related to Trump and Indian politics, is part of a broader trend of Trump and his supporters likening him to Superman.
The Daily Beast reported that this is not the first time Trump has been associated with the Man of Steel; in fact, a diorama featuring Trump as Superman was part of his 50th birthday celebration.
Additionally, Trump’s 2022 digital trading card series included a depiction of him as a superhero, complete with a “T” emblem and laser eyes.
Reactions from Warner Bros. and DC regarding the use of their characters in Trump’s post were not immediately available. The meme serves as yet another example of Trump’s use of bold, comic-book-inspired imagery to craft his political brand, particularly as he gears up for the 2024 election.
