Dua Lipa looks hot in Black with Romain Gavras at Cannes
Dua Lipa and Romain Gavras made their highly-anticipated red carpet debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The couple was photographed on the red carpet, embracing each other, as they attended the premiere of the film “Omar La Fraise” (The King of Algiers). The movie revolves around a fugitive gangster who must hide to evade a lengthy prison sentence in France.
Lipa, 27, stunned in a captivating black one-shoulder dress adorned with stylish cutouts, a long slit, and a silhouette that elegantly showcased her back. Complementing her ensemble, she wore matching high-heeled strappy sandals and dangling earrings. Gavras, on the other hand, looked dapper in a classic black suit and tie.
According to reports, Lipa and Gavras were initially spotted leaving a party together in London back in February, sparking rumors of their romance. Their affectionate display continued during Paris Fashion Week when they were seen holding hands, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
Gavras, a talented director known for his work on Kanye West’s “No Church in the Wild” and M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls” music videos, had a previous relationship with singer Rita Ora that lasted approximately six months.
In addition to her red carpet appearance with Gavras, Lipa had another reason to be in Cannes. She showcased her collaborative project with the renowned Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace. The 68-year-old fashion icon recently announced their joint high-fashion summer collection for the Versace brand, named “La Vacanza” (meaning “vacation” in English). The collection will make its debut during a fashion show in Cannes and will be available for purchase in stores and on Versace’s official website shortly after the event.
