ESPN analyst Greg McElroy predicts Arkansas Razorbacks will upset Auburn Tigers in Week 4. Learn why McElroy favors Arkansas’ run-first offense and defensive edge.
BollywoodFever: ESPN analyst Greg McElroy recently shared his thoughts on the Week 4 college football matchups during the “Always College Football” podcast, highlighting some of the biggest games on the slate.
Among his predictions, McElroy revealed a notable upset: he believes the Arkansas Razorbacks will defeat the Auburn Tigers in their upcoming clash.
McElroy pointed to Arkansas’ dominant run-first offense as a key factor in the game. “Through the first few games, they are 12th in the FBS and 3rd in the SEC in rushing yards,” McElroy said.
They’ve also scored 15 touchdowns on the ground, which is more than any other team in the country… I lean Arkansas in the game, but it should be fascinating down there on the plains.”

The Razorbacks have thrived behind running back Ja’Quinden Jackson, who has racked up six touchdowns and 397 rushing yards on just 47 carries this season.
In addition to Jackson’s impressive performance, quarterback Taylen Green and the rest of the running back corps have contributed nine more rushing touchdowns, solidifying Arkansas’ ground game.
McElroy also pointed out that Arkansas’ experienced defensive front, led by Cameron Ball and Eric Gregory, could present challenges for Auburn’s quarterback Hank Brown, who lacks game experience.
While McElroy acknowledged that the matchup will be competitive, he expressed confidence in Arkansas’ ability to control the game by dominating in the trenches.
He predicts that the Razorbacks will leave Jordan-Hare Stadium victorious and advance to a 3-1 record after Week 4.
