FaZe Clan CEO Ricky “Banks” Bengston reveals that the team has been evicted from their content house after just three months, following multiple warnings from the landlord. The eviction disrupts major upcoming plans for the group.
Bollywood Fever: In a shocking turn of events, FaZe Clan members have been evicted from their content house after just three months of residency.
The news was revealed by FaZe Clan CEO Ricky “Banks” Bengston, who took to social media on August 27 to share the development, expressing frustration and disappointment with the situation.
The eviction comes just a few months after Banks announced a major “reboot” of the organization in May 2024.
This restructuring saw the group cut down to just 14 core creators, with a new content house established shortly thereafter.
Members Lacy, Ronaldo, Jason, and PlaqueBoyMax had been living in the house, producing content and building the FaZe brand.
However, according to Banks, the group has now been forced out by their landlord. “We really just lost the FaZe house,” Banks posted on Twitter/X, before elaborating on the situation in a lengthy audio clip.
“We just officially got evicted from the crib. I f**king told these kids, man!” Banks began, voicing his frustration. He explained that the group had been given multiple warnings by the landlord, and despite his efforts to manage the situation, the eviction became inevitable.
Banks also touched on the broader challenges the group has been facing. “I’m tired. I’m exhausted. We’re trying to run this st up with no fking budget, no f**king help,” he said, highlighting the difficulties of managing the organization with limited resources.
The eviction is particularly disruptive as it came just before the group was set to begin custom build-outs and production work for a planned September Subathon. “This is a year lease that’s broken, that we paid up-front. So, I don’t know what the fk is good with that. But, that might just be a couple of hundred bands down the fking toilet!” Banks remarked, expressing his frustration over the financial implications.
While Banks did not provide an official reason for the eviction, it is notable that the announcement came shortly after a house-wide prank war among the FaZe members. Whether this incident played a role in the landlord’s decision remains unclear.
This isn’t the first time FaZe Clan has faced issues with its content houses. Another house, launched in May, also ran into problems when member YourRage decided to leave due to what he described as a “clip farm disease.”
As the FaZe Clan grapples with these challenges, the future of the group’s content creation efforts remains uncertain. Fans will be watching closely to see how the organization navigates this setback and what it means for the remaining members of the iconic gaming and content creation brand.
