Bollywood Fever: Holly Kingston, former Bachelor star, has been rushed to the hospital following complications with her pregnancy. The 30-year-old, who is expecting her first baby with husband Jimmy Nicholson, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the nerve-wracking news.
Despite mentioning some “warning signs” that needed to be checked out, the marketing manager assured fans that her baby is “healthy.” Holly’s first post to her Stories featured a video of her lying back in a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown. She captioned the short clip: “So the last few days have been a whirlwind and to be honest, pretty damn crappy. Firstly and most importantly, baby is healthy and thriving.”
Holly followed up with a photo of her and Jimmy cuddled up in the hospital bed, writing: “I have spent the last few days in emergency following a few complications which certainly reiterated that growing a baby is tough work on your body.” She advised her followers to “pay attention to any warning signs” during pregnancy and praised Jimmy for his unwavering support.
“Times like these I realise my husband has certainly been trained to deal with stressful situations like an absolute pro,” she continued. “He’s created makeshift spew bags within milliseconds, delivered me nuggets on demand, and made me laugh when one would think there’s not much to laugh about. Happy to be home with a healthy bub and on the mend.”
Earlier this month, Holly and Jimmy celebrated a special milestone in their pregnancy, sharing images of their baby’s “first kick.” In a brief black-and-white video, Holly showed her moving baby bump with the caption: “Felt our first kick tonight. Won’t be forgetting that moment anytime soon.” Jimmy’s hand could be seen cradling Holly’s expanding bump.
Holly and Jimmy fell in love on the 2021 season of The Bachelor Australia and tied the knot at his parent’s house in Sydney in August 2023.
