Typhoon Ampil disrupts travel and prompts evacuation orders near Tokyo, affecting thousands as Japan braces for fierce winds and power outages during a major holiday week.
Bollywood Fever: Frank Catania, star of Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ), has added fuel to the rumors surrounding Teresa Giudice’s potential departure from the hit Bravo series. During a recent episode of the “Lisa Alastuey Podcast,” Catania discussed the speculation that Giudice, one of the most recognizable Housewives across all franchises, might not return for Season 15.
“I’ve heard the same [rumors] about Teresa being asked to leave, as opposed to being fired,” Catania revealed. Despite the uncertainty, he expressed confidence in Giudice’s ability to land on her feet, noting her immense popularity.
Rumors about Giudice’s exit have swirled for years, though she has consistently denied them. Catania, however, suggested that a rebrand of the show could be imminent, with the possibility of new cast members joining and some current ones departing. “You can’t continue the way we’re doing it now because right now it is basically two separate shows,” he said, referring to the ongoing feud between Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.
Catania also shared his belief that Giudice has changed in recent years, particularly since her relationship with Luis “Louie” Ruelas began. “She’s just not herself. Not the Teresa I grew up with,” he remarked, noting that the once close-knit friend has become different under Louie’s influence.
The tension between Catania and Ruelas was also highlighted during the RHONJ Season 13 reunion, where Catania expressed his frustration with Ruelas after he allegedly shut down a business without informing Catania’s son, Frankie, who was employed there. He went on to blame Ruelas for altering the dynamic of the show, which has seen increasingly intense and angry arguments.
“There have been such angry, angry arguments in this show, and it has never, ever gotten to the point it has gotten to right now. And the only thing different is Luis,” Catania said.
As fans speculate about the future of RHONJ and Teresa Giudice’s role in it, Catania’s candid comments provide a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes tensions and possible changes on the horizon for the popular reality series.
