Bollywood Fever: Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s summer was nothing short of idyllic. The former couple, who co-parent their two children, Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, embraced a season full of family adventures, as Gwyneth shared in a heartwarming Instagram post on September 2.
Set to the tune of “Real Love Baby” by Father John Misty, the Goop founder reflected on their time together, writing, “Summer was good to us.” The video montage included cherished moments with both her children, her ex-husband Chris, and her current husband Brad Falchuk.
Among the highlights were romantic snippets with Brad, alongside touching selfies with her daughter Apple, a photo of Moses appreciating art at a museum, and another showing Moses sitting on Chris’s lap.
The Paltrow-Martin family’s summer adventures also took them to new heights, quite literally, as Gwyneth shared photos from a plane ride that featured stunning views of Manhattan’s skyline and a playful selfie with Moses, both sporting aviation headsets.
In addition to her family moments, Gwyneth also celebrated her friendships, including a selfie with Reese Witherspoon, showcasing the balance she maintains between family and friends.
Since their amicable divorce in 2016, Gwyneth and Chris have demonstrated a peaceful and supportive coparenting relationship. Gwyneth has openly expressed her affection for Chris’s fiancée, Dakota Johnson, describing her as an “adorable, wonderful person” and a good friend in a candid Instagram Q&A from October.
The Shakespeare in Love star has previously acknowledged that their friendly dynamic didn’t come easily but was a conscious decision for the sake of their children. Reflecting on their approach, Gwyneth shared in a 2023 interview with People: “Chris and I just said, ‘Let’s just never do that.’ Let’s try to get through the hard part of this and remember our friendship.” She added, “He’s like my family.”
