Trivia
The character that Salman refers to as his Nanny – Mrs Goudhino, is a real life neighbour, from his old residence.
The plot of Rani and Salman’s fake marraige was repeated in Kunwara and Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke in the same year.
The film was originally titled ” Chandralekha” just as the original film. However, the title name was changed because Chandralekha was a South Indian name, so it wouldn’t fit a North Indian movie title.
Tabu was signed for Preity Zinta’ s role.
Priyadarshan was going to direct the film when it was first launched.
