Bollywood Fever: Heather Graham recently delighted her Instagram followers by sharing a series of flashback photos from her recent vacation in Portofino, Italy. The 54-year-old actress, known for her roles in Boogie Nights and The Hangover, was seen enjoying the picturesque Italian coast alongside her boyfriend, John de Neufville.
In the Instagram post titled “Amo l’Italia in estate” (I love Italy in summer), complete with a red heart emoji, Heather showcased her toned physique in a green bikini while relaxing in a changing room by the shore. With a towel wrapped around her head, she flaunted her well-defined abs and muscular arms. The star also shared a glimpse of a glamorous evening, donning a pink dress as she headed out for dinner with her beau.
Heather seemed to be having the time of her life, basking in the beauty of the Italian coast. She and John, a snowboarder whom she has been linked with since 2022, were seen posing together in several of the photos. Their relationship, which blossomed outside of the Hollywood spotlight, has been a refreshing change for the actress.
In a 2023 interview with People, Heather opened up about the benefits of dating someone outside of the entertainment industry. Of course, you want someone to understand your crazy schedule, which is different than a normal job, but I like dating someone who’s not in the business,” she said. “It puts it in perspective. Sometimes your job becomes so important to you, and then you realize there’s so many other things in life that are happening. It’s not all about the movie business.”
John, who considers himself “more of a sports guy,” has even taken the time to explore Heather’s filmography, including movies she herself finds embarrassing. Heather joked, “But he always tells me I was great and that he is really impressed. It’s sweet.”
Despite choosing not to marry or have children, Heather feels fulfilled. “I don’t feel that I’m missing anything,” she shared. She compares her career projects to children, stating, “I do sometimes feel like my projects are little kids; I have started to get more involved in producing and writing and directing.”
Reflecting on her successful career, which includes films like Drugstore Cowboy, Bowfinger, and Twin Peaks, Heather expressed gratitude for her journey. “I’m grateful that I’m in some things that people remember and that I still get to keep working,” she said. “So many people want to be actors and don’t ever get to work. I got to support myself doing this, so I am grateful.”
Heather’s trip to Italy, filled with love, relaxation, and reflection, serves as a reminder of her enduring charm and the balanced life she continues to cultivate.
