Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade Prices Reduced by Around Rs. 10 Lakh
The Fireblade’s price is now at Rs. 23.11 lakh.
This is a considerable drop from the original price of Rs. 32.68 Lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, Gurugram).
Thanks to the recent price revision, the ‘blade has become much more affordable in India.
We are not complaining, though. The CBR1000RRR-R is a stunning superbike that delivers incredible performance and lightning-fast handling.
The engine is a 1000cc liquid-cooled, inline-4 petrol motor that produces 217 PS and 112 Nm of peak power and torque.
Honda CBR1000RR-R
The Honda CBR1000RRR-R is a very sporty and sharp design.
The bike features sleek-looking twin headlamps with bubble-style front visors, a full front fairing and flat-top fuel tanks with knee recesses.
It also has clip-on handlebars and a high seat, and aerodynamic winglets are integrated into the front fairing.
The powerplant is mated to an automatic 6-speed transmission. A slip & help clutch is also available. The motorcycle’s kerb weight is 201 kg.
This makes it lighter than other bikes in its class. Dual 330mm discs are used at the front and one 220mm disc at the rear.
Dual-channel ABS is also available. Honda offers USD forks with a 43mm adjustment and a monoshock at its rear.
The alloy wheels are 17 inches on each end (120/70 front tyre, 200/55 back tyre). CBR1000RRR-R also features a fully digital TFT instrument console, twin LED lights, an LED taillight and HISS (Honda Ignition Security System).
The bike also features torque control, wheelie control and riding modes. The Honda CBR1000RRR-R is only available in India through the BigWing dealer network.
There are two colours to choose from: Grand Prix Red and Matte Pearl Morion Black. The closest competitors are the Kawasaki ZX-10R and Ducati Panigale V4, and Aprilia RSV4.
