Hugh Jackman helped a fan to propose his girlfriend during the entertainer’s “The Man. The Music. The Show” tour stop in St. Paul, Minnesota, earlier this summer.
In a video of the June 22 concert, Jackman, tells the crowd at the Xcel Energy Center that he got a letter from a man named Joe about four months ago, and that he was in the audience that night.

Jackman said : “I don’t normally do this and you’ll understand why afterward but I got a letter from a guy named Joe,”. “Joe told me he was going to be here in the audience.”
Kripal, 25, tells his girlfriend, Sanaa Ahmed, “You’re the love of my life, and I want to spend every day with you, which is why I asked Hugh, here, to help me out with this.”
After getting down on one knee, he then asks Ahmed, 24, for her hand in marriage as the crowd erupts in cheers.
“Congratulations,” Jackman tells Ahmed after she says “yes.” “Did you have any idea?”
“No!” she responds with giggles.
After the proposal, Kripal told T&T Creative Media that he had “butterflies like crazy” and his heart was “pounding out of my chest,” but never doubted that Ahmed would accept his proposal.
“I was just nervous doing this in front of 14,000 people,” he added.
At the end of the video, Jackman added, “Love you, man. Happy birthday,” before blowing a kiss at the camera.
