The 15th annual Philly Naked Bike Ride saw hundreds of participants cruising through Philadelphia, promoting cycling, body positivity, and eco-friendly transportation.
Bollywood Fever: Hundreds of participants in various states of undress took to the streets of Philadelphia on Saturday evening for the 15th annual Philly Naked Bike Ride, receiving cheers from onlookers as they cycled through the city.
The ride, which began in 2009, aims to promote cycling as a sustainable mode of transportation, encourage fuel-conscious consumption, and celebrate body positivity.

Participants are encouraged to ride “as bare as you dare,” with organizers stressing that full nudity is optional.
The event is inclusive of all forms of human-powered transportation, including rollerblades, skates, skateboards, and scooters.

A strict code of conduct is enforced, barring any form of physical or sexual harassment.
This year’s route covered 12 miles (19 kilometers) and featured some of Philadelphia’s most iconic landmarks.
Riders assembled in Fairmount Park, where many adorned themselves with body paint before setting off.

The route took them down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, past historic City Hall, through Rittenhouse Square, and into South Philadelphia before looping back to end in a West Philadelphia park near Drexel University.

The ride, which originally took place in September, was moved to August several years ago due to participants feeling chilly in the cooler weather.
The event was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic but has since resumed, continuing its tradition of combining advocacy for cycling and body positivity with a festive and inclusive atmosphere.
