Hunter Biden attends Sean Penn’s Daddio screening in L.A. after federal gun conviction, showing a relaxed demeanor despite facing potential prison time.
Bollywood Fever: Hunter Biden has been making the rounds in Los Angeles following his recent federal gun conviction. After enjoying an Italian meal in West Hollywood, President Biden’s son attended a screening of Sean Penn’s new movie.
Despite facing up to 25 years in prison after being convicted on three felony gun charges, Hunter appeared unfazed as he walked into the CAA Century City building with his wife, Melissa, to watch Daddio, starring his friend Sean Penn and Dakota Johnson. As a first-time offender, Hunter is unlikely to receive the maximum sentence and may even get straight probation, which could explain his relaxed demeanor.
Before the movie, Hunter and Melissa attended a reception in the lobby, where they seemed to be in good spirits, showing affection and mingling with others. At one point, they were seen chatting quietly with Sean Penn, who had lunch with Hunter earlier in the day. The two have been spotted together before, notably hanging out in Malibu back in May, indicating a close friendship.
Inside the theater, Hunter and Melissa found their seats among the crowd. A video taken before the movie shows Hunter conversing with Melissa, who smiles at someone nearby, all appearing quite relaxed.
This sighting follows Hunter’s Thursday night dinner at Dan Tana’s, a popular Italian restaurant in West Hollywood, where he and Melissa were escorted to a private room.
