Aditi Rao Hydari who acted in Hindi Tamil and Malyalam movies opened up about her weirdest experience on a chat show.
On a chat show she revealed that she had to make out with some she dont know for sudhir mishra’s crime thriller yeh saali zindagi, referring to Arunodaya singh she said he was a huge hulk of a guy
Aditi : “I don’t have any whacked out stories from auditions, except the Yeh Saali Zindagi audition where I had to literally make out with someone I didn’t know.” She added, “But at that point, I didn’t know him and he was a huge Hulk of a guy and I was just like, ‘Uh…what’s going on here?”

When asked about her dream to work with Maniratnam she said
“I think it was watching Bombay and Manisha Koirala in that white lehenga singing Kehna Hi Kya. I mean, I don’t think I could have done that, but I literally wanted to run into the screen and be her,”
Aditi worked with maniratnam in 2017 Kaatru Veliyidai talking about her audition
“He called me for a look test and I was sh**ting bricks because I had dialogues in Tamil and I don’t know a word of the language. This was my dream and it was going to come crashing down because I’m going to talk some nonsense and I know how particular he is about language,”
Though Aditi spent two days mugging up the long monologue, she was still not prepared. “I’m quite moohphat like that. So I went and told him. I said, ‘Listen, I’m going to screw this up over some language and I’m dying to work with you.’ He was really sweet about it. He said, ‘I know you can act, I just want to see if you can respond to the direction that I give you. You can say whatever, break into English if you want. Just don’t talk in Hindi because I don’t understand it,” she said.
