The ICC confirms the World Test Championship final will be held at Lord’s from June 11-15, 2025, with India and Australia currently leading the standings.
Bollywood Fever: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Tuesday that the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) final will be hosted at Lord’s from June 11-15.
This marks the first time that the historic venue will host the one-off Test match between the two top-ranked teams in the five-day format. Previously, the finals were held at Southampton’s Rose Bowl and The Oval in London.
June 16 has been designated as a reserve day in case of interruptions, the ICC stated.
Currently, India, two-time WTC finalists, lead the standings, closely followed by defending champions Australia.
As part of their bid to reach the final, India is set to tour Australia for a five-match Test series from November to January.
