Streaming star IShowSpeed impresses Olympic bronze medalist Frederick Richard with his 24-hour backflip attempt. Will they team up to break the world record?
Bollywood Fever: IShowSpeed has gained recognition for his bold streaming antics, but his latest attempt to break the world record for backflips in one day has caught the attention of an Olympic medalist. The streaming star, known for his unpredictable content, recently tried to break the record of over 1,000 backflips in 24 hours but fell short, completing around 660 backflips.
While Speed claimed he felt “paralyzed” after the attempt, his effort impressed Team USA Olympic bronze medalist Frederick Richard, who offered to help him next time. Richard took to TikTok on his FredrickFlips account, praising Speed’s dedication and noting that there’s some “technical stuff” that Speed could “optimize” for future attempts.

“I’m impressed. 660 backflips! I would train you, Speed,” Richard said, adding that while he’s done hundreds of backflips in practice, he questions whether breaking the record is worth the potential physical toll. However, he hinted that if the video goes viral, he might give it a shot himself.
IShowSpeed has promised his fans that he will try again after a short break, and with potential training from an Olympic-level gymnast, his chances of breaking the record might just improve. The current world record is held by Austrian Nico Scheicher.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see if this collaboration happens and whether Speed can push past the 1,000 mark in the coming weeks.
