Jake Paul praises Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube success but doubts the soccer star can match MrBeast’s astronomical subscriber count. Ronaldo currently leads on Instagram with 637 million followers.
Bollywood Fever: Cristiano Ronaldo may have shattered the record for most subscribers gained in just 90 minutes on YouTube, but Jake Paul believes there’s no chance the soccer superstar will catch up to MrBeast‘s astronomical figures.
Many speculated that Ronaldo might have the potential to reach MrBeast’s 300 million subscribers, given his explosive start on the platform.
However, Paul told TMZ Sports on Friday that he doesn’t see it happening.
This isn’t shade from the boxer; Paul actually praised Ronaldo for his impressive feat but emphasized that MrBeast’s numbers are in a different league altogether.
“Kudos to him,” Paul said about Ronaldo. “Hopefully he drops some awesome videos, and I think it’s dope that he’s on the platform.”
Paul, who has a deep understanding of YouTube’s mechanics, with around 20 million subscribers himself, noted that while Ronaldo’s subscriber count is growing rapidly—currently surpassing 39 million—he expects it to plateau soon.
Ronaldo, however, likely won’t be too concerned about the YouTube race, as he already dominates Instagram with a staggering 637 million followers, far outpacing MrBeast on that platform.
