Jamal Murray is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He also represents the Canadian national team.
He played one season of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being drafted by the Nuggets with the seventh overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft.

On February 19, 2021, Murray finessed a career-high 50 points in a 120–103 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Career Of Jamal Murray
Murray started playing basketball at a young age and attended Orangeville Prep, a high school in Orangeville, Ontario, where he was considered one of the top high school players in Canada. After graduating from high school, Murray attended the University of Kentucky for one year, where he played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Murray was selected seventh overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 2016 NBA draft. He had a solid rookie season and improved in his second season, becoming a key player for the Nuggets. In the 2019-2020 NBA season, Murray had a breakout year, averaging 18.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. He helped lead the Nuggets to the Western Conference Finals, where they ultimately lost to the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the 2020 NBA bubble playoffs, Murray had a historic postseason run, averaging 26.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game while leading the Nuggets to upset victories over the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers. He had several memorable performances, including a 50-point game in Game 4 of the first round against the Jazz and a 40-point game in Game 7 of the second round against the Clippers.
Murray’s career was unfortunately derailed by a devastating ACL injury in April 2021, which caused him to miss the rest of the 2020-2021 season and most of the 2021-2022 season. However, he has shown promise in his return and remains a key player for the Nuggets.
