Tensions erupted during a Jane’s Addiction concert in Boston, with lead singer Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro clashing onstage. Perry’s wife, Etty Farrell, shares insight into the fight.
BollywoodFever: Chaos broke out at a Jane’s Addiction concert in Boston on Friday night when lead singer Perry Farrell physically clashed with guitarist Dave Navarro onstage.
The incident occurred at the Leader Bank Pavilion, where Farrell “body checked” Navarro before attempting to punch him, escalating tensions during the performance.

Footage shared by Perry’s wife, Etty Farrell, showed the heated moment as Perry angrily sang into the mic, then slammed into Navarro.
As Navarro tried to de-escalate by holding Perry at arm’s length, Farrell swung at him, missing Navarro but hitting his guitar instead.
Stage crew rushed in to intervene, pulling Perry away while Navarro placed his guitar on the ground and walked off the stage.
Etty Farrell later took to Instagram to shed light on the “tension and animosity” that led to the altercation.
She revealed that Perry had been frustrated for several nights, feeling that the stage volume was overpowering his voice, exacerbating his tinnitus and sore throat.
Audience members in the front row also complained to Perry, which she said contributed to him “losing it.”

The fight reportedly escalated after the band began performing “Ocean” before Perry was ready, leading him to scream instead of sing by the end of the song.
Etty also described a backstage altercation where bassist Eric Avery allegedly put Perry in a headlock and punched him in the stomach.
Etty expressed concern for Perry’s emotional state, saying he was “a crazed beast” for 30 minutes after the fight, before breaking down in tears.
Fans expressed worry in Etty’s comments, urging her to get Perry the help he needs and questioning whether she was enabling his behavior.
The incident highlights the internal struggles the band may be facing, as fans continue to voice concerns about Perry’s well-being.
