She is focusing on content-driven films simultaneously commercial films.
After Ginjan she is preparing for Masala genre film Dostana 2 and as per reports she is in talks for the remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam movie Helen.
Janhvi Kapoor To Play Nayanthara From Kolamavu Kokila
As per a daily now she will feature in remake of 2018 Tamil Super Hit film Kolamavu Kokila.
South Indian superstar Nayanthara played the lead role which revolves around drug smuggling.
Anand Rai procured the remake rights of Tamil movie Kolamavu Kokila. Siddharth Sengupta will make his directorial debut with this film and the shoot commences in February 2021.
Kolamavu Kokila is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language black comedy crime film written and directed by debutant Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Lyca Productions.
The film stars Nayanthara in the lead role alongside a supporting cast including Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvannan, R. S. Shivaji, Charles Vinoth, and Hareesh Peradi.
The film was released on 17 August 2018 to positive response and become a commercial success.
