Bollywoodfever, February 29: Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are pausing their marital relationship.

In the latest episode of their “When Reality Hits” podcast aired on Thursday, February 29, Cartwright, 35, shared the current struggles in their marriage with listeners.

“A lot of you have been inquiring about the status of Jax and me. It’s vital for us to maintain transparency with our audience, as we’ve let you into so much of our lives,” she expressed. “I want to avoid any impression of dishonesty, so I feel it’s necessary to address this.”

Cartwright acknowledged the challenges they’ve faced in their marriage, stating, “Given the rampant speculation and stories, I felt it was crucial to be open with you. Yes, marriages can be challenging, and this past year has been particularly tough for me.”

She revealed, “Jax and I are currently taking a break, and I’ve chosen to move to a different home to give myself some space and attend to my mental health. I prefer not to delve into specifics as it’s still a sensitive subject for me.”

Cartwright, who is a mother to their 2-year-old son Cruz with Taylor, emphasized her commitment to her family. “I’m taking it one day at a time,” she said. The future is uncertain, but my priority is to be the best mother to Cruz. I appreciate your love and prayers. Everything will work out.”

This announcement follows a recent discussion on their podcast about the challenges in their relationship.

“Regarding the rumors, I’ll touch on it briefly. We believe in maintaining some level of privacy, but it’s normal for marriages to experience highs and lows,” Cartwright mentioned in the February 22 episode of the podcast. “At times, individuals may need their space.”

While Cartwright opened up about their personal challenges, Taylor stayed mostly silent. “I want to clarify that our lives are not for show. The filming for The Valley was completed a long time ago, and we’re excited for its release, recognizing that much has changed in our lives and those of other couples on the show. There are no publicity stunts involved here.”

Despite past infidelity issues, sources close to the couple have indicated that cheating is not a concern in their current situation.
