Australian influencer Jaylie Bonow faces legal trouble after posting a video of feeding a crocodile, prompting an investigation and a $2,580 fine for the dangerous stunt.
BollywoodFever: A popular Australian social media influencer and OnlyFans model, Jaylie Bonow, is facing legal repercussions after a video she posted of feeding a saltwater crocodile went viral for all the wrong reasons.
The now-deleted video showed Bonow feeding what she claimed was cooked chicken to a crocodile on the banks of the Russell River in Far North Queensland—a practice that’s not only dangerous but also illegal in Australia.
The incident caught the attention of Australia’s Department of Environment, Science, and Innovation (DESI), which confirmed that Bonow is under investigation. Feeding crocodiles is a serious offense in the country, as it can make the reptiles more aggressive and less fearful of humans, leading to heightened risks. Bonow could face a fine of $2,580 for her stunt, according to local authorities.
After the backlash, Bonow posted an apology video on her social media, calling the feeding a “silly mistake” and using the opportunity to educate others about the dangers and legalities of interacting with wildlife. The apology, however, may not be enough to keep her from facing consequences.
This incident highlights the growing concern around influencers and their attempts to capture shocking content for views, often disregarding local laws and safety precautions.
