Bollywood Fever: Jennifer Lawrence turned heads with her unique style while out in the West Village. The Hunger Games star, 33, hinted at a possible family expansion during a casual outing on Friday, flaunting her chic ensemble.
Lawrence wore a long, see-through lavender cover-up that teased her black bra and taut tummy, paired with high-waisted black sweatpants. She completed her look with a trendy bucket hat, dark sunglasses, and dainty earrings, while her blonde locks were styled in a low ponytail. The Oscar winner also flashed her sizeable wedding ring during her day off.
Lawrence ventured out solo, without her husband, Cooke Maroney. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019 after a year of dating, welcomed their first child in February 2022, a son named after American artist Cy Twombly.
The actress recently reflected on her wedding day, admitting it was more stressful than joyful. At the Golden Globes in January, she told E! News about the pressures of hosting and how she worried about her guests’ comfort.
“It’s so stressful. You’re not having fun. You’re just like, ‘Is that person having fun?'” Lawrence said. She recounted her concern for the guests being cold, despite her friends assuring her otherwise. “My mom was like, ‘It’s freezing out there. Your grandmother almost died,'” she added.
Lawrence also revealed that the stress led her to ask The Godfather star Robert De Niro to leave her rehearsal dinner. She recalled, “I looked over, and I saw Bob, who doesn’t know anybody, and he’s kind of wandering around, and I immediately was like, ‘No, this isn’t what he wants to be doing. I don’t want him here.’ So I went over and whispered, I was like, ‘Go home,’ and he was nice—he talked to my parents and was polite—but I was like, ‘Go.'”
Despite the wedding day stress, Lawrence and Maroney are reportedly in a great place. According to a source who spoke to ET, the couple is “so in love” and considering expanding their family. “Jennifer and Cooke are doing very well and are super in love. They make each other laugh and have the best time parenting together,” the insider shared. “They would love to have another kid and expand their family.”
Lawrence’s recent outing and the news of potential family plans show that the actress is thriving both personally and professionally, enjoying her life with style and grace.
