The Kansas City Chiefs start the 2024 season 2-0 after a thrilling win over the Bengals, continuing their trend of hot starts under head coach Andy Reid.
BollywoodFever: The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 2-0 in the 2024 season after a dramatic 51-yard field goal from kicker Harrison Butker as time expired, securing a close win against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
This marks the seventh time the Chiefs have started 2-0 under head coach Andy Reid in his 12 seasons with the team.
Reid has led Kansas City to a hot start in 2013, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022 as well. Under his leadership, the Chiefs have compiled an impressive 18-6 record through the first two weeks of the season since 2013, the best of any NFL team during that span.
While early-season success is a hallmark for Kansas City, it has often translated to deeper success.
The Chiefs have missed the playoffs only once since Reid’s arrival, in 2014, a season where they did not start 2-0.
This year’s undefeated beginning is particularly impressive, as they have bested their last two AFC Championship opponents, the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.
The Chiefs have their sights set on another Super Bowl run, aiming for their third-straight championship.
As they prepare to face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the team is focused on maintaining their undefeated streak.
