Bollywood Fever: Katie Piper looked stunning in a brown bikini as she enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday with her husband, Richard Sutton, in Spain on Monday. The Loose Women panellist, 40, shared a series of Instagram snaps documenting the cherished moments from their getaway.
Katie and Richard, 41, who have been married since 2015, appeared blissfully happy as they wrapped their arms around each other in a selection of sweet selfies. Katie flaunted her toned physique in a halter-neck bikini, exuding confidence as she lounged on the beach after a refreshing dip in the sea.
Accessorizing with earrings and showcasing her wedding ring, Katie let her blonde locks fall in natural beachy waves. She was all smiles while enjoying a fun-filled beach day with her two daughters, Belle, 10, and Penelope, six, whom she shares with Richard.
The holiday album also included a stunning selfie of Katie on the beach and snapshots from their family nights out. One candid shot captured Katie looking effortlessly chic in a white frilly maxi dress as she posed on a balcony, while another highlighted a glamorous evening out where she dazzled in a tiny black bralette, paired with a satin white skirt.
Richard complemented Katie’s stylish look, wearing a white cardigan unbuttoned for a casual yet dapper appearance. In her Instagram post, Katie expressed gratitude for the summer, writing, “That’s a wrap on summer. I am grateful to my family, to the sun, to the opportunities we’ve had and for the memories we’ve made ☀️Back to school and work, I’m ready.”
Katie’s holiday comes shortly after she shared her “secret” to staying safe in the sun, inspired by her Loose Women co-star Olivia Attwood. As a burns survivor, Katie has to be particularly mindful of sun exposure. She revealed that she uses factor 30 sunscreen on her body and factor 50 on her face, along with a visor for added protection, a tip she picked up from Olivia.
Reflecting on her journey, Katie has been open about the numerous operations she has undergone since the 2008 acid attack that left her with severe injuries. In December 2023, she revealed that she had to have her eye sewn shut temporarily to aid its healing.
Katie’s resilience continues to inspire, as she remains a beacon of strength while navigating her ongoing recovery. Her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Lynch, who orchestrated the attack, is serving a life sentence, and Katie recently learned that she will have to wait until November for the parole appeal decision regarding Lynch.
Despite the challenges she has faced, Katie’s positive outlook and determination shine through, as she continues to live life to the fullest with her loving family by her side.
